Evangeline Lilly condemned Disney for laying off around 1,000 employees, including many artists from Marvel's production teams. Lilly expressed disbelief that Disney would let go of the artists responsible for the Marvel Universe, criticizing the use of AI to replace human creativity. She questioned the lack of laws protecting artists' work from being used by AI and called out Disney for abandoning those who contributed to its success.
