Anora's Sean Baker writes the ending first
Briefly

I was intrigued by that idea of Stockholm syndrome but didn’t want to tell a mafia film. I was seeking a different narrative angle for the character.
Anora might be my most inviting, accessible work yet. It explores the complexities of love and betrayal within the sex work narrative.
The transition from a lap dancer to a life of luxury is fleeting for Ani. She realizes the excesses can come with hidden truths.
