The Lost Bus is a film inspired by the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California, centered on a bus driver who saves a teacher and 22 students from the blaze. America Ferrera plays the teacher and Matthew McConaughey portrays the bus driver. Matthew McConaughey's son Levi appears on camera and also worked in the camera department; his mother Kay plays his onscreen mom. Director Paul Greengrass encouraged a familial on-set environment and invited cast members to bring their children. The film will be available on Apple TV+ on October 3.
