Al Pacino revealed that his role in 'Jack and Jill' was a necessity after losing his fortune in a Ponzi scheme, stating, "I did it because I didn't have anything else."
In his memoir, Pacino described the financial downfall, explaining, "The kind of money I was spending and where it was going was just a crazy montage of loss."
Reflecting on the challenges of high earnings, he noted, "In this business, when you make $10 million dollars for a film, it's not $10 million. It's $4.5 million in your pocket."
Despite his struggles, Pacino expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, "Adam Sandler wanted me, and they paid me a lot for it. So I went out and did it, and it helped."
