Krasinski announced the news via Instagram, sharing images of scripts labeled with each actor's name. Production is scheduled to begin in spring in New York. Krasinski directs from his own screenplay and serves as producer. The film will release in theaters on July 30, 2027. This marks Krasinski's return to directing the franchise after Michael Sarnoski directed the 2024 prequel A Quiet Place: Day One.
