On January 6, Peacock took home its first Primetime Emmy Award when Judith Light won Outstanding Guest Actress on a Comedy Series (also Light's first Primetime Emmy Award after two Daytime Emmy wins). Likewise, The Roku Channel won its first Emmy Award for 'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,' which nabbed Outstanding Television Movie. 'The Bear,' 'The White Lotus,' and 'BEEF' all won Outstanding Casting in their respective categories - among many other awards - while 'The Last of Us' scored eight Emmys - including wins for guest stars Storm Reid and Nick Offerman - which seems to be confirmation that these hits will be potent contenders.
