When I'm out of town, I buy things I will absolutely never wear again in the context of my real life. Years ago, I was shooting in New Orleans, and I went into BCBG and bought a whole new wardrobe.
It's this whole other persona that I was like, 'Well, that's done now.' I suddenly found myself with a whole new wardrobe of all linen clothes. Now, I have to just become that person, a linen vest gal.
I've always shopped there [Macy's]. I grew up in South Pasadena and [there's this] big Macy's in Pasadena where I used to do all my holiday shopping, so it just made a lot of sense.
My mom's favorite stone is opal, and she had a ring that she loved when she was younger that she gave to me, and I lost it.
