A California musician, Jason Mesches, sent a photo of himself wearing new orange glasses to a friend, who immediately compared them to Blippi's signature eyewear. Mesches noted a resemblance to the original Blippi, Steven John, and reacted with mock dismay while explaining the glasses were non-refundable. Mesches leads a children’s entertainment company, The Smile Factory, and follows a “bold choices only” fashion philosophy.
