"The idea of the Series A is that we wanted to make the 'navy blazer' of watches,"
"We wanted to make something that was easy, versatile, wearable, appealing to a lot of people - something that's hopefully iconic, but definitely very important in a person's visual repertoire."
Mark Cho and Alan See founded The Armoury in 2010 with bases in Hong Kong and New York. Cho is a noted collector focusing on sub-38mm mid-20th-century dress watches. Temporal Works is The Armoury's in-house watch brand created in partnership with Elliot Hammer. The debut Series A is a 37mm dress watch offered in three colorways: a red lacquer and two sector dials in grey or blue. The Series A uses a monobloc case, screw-down caseback, and measures roughly 10mm tall including a sapphire crystal. Highly polished, Zaratsu-like surfaces and brushed midcase elements create a vintage Grand Seiko–inspired silhouette designed for wrist-hugging versatility.
