This marks a significant moment as it's the first time in 47 years that someone outside the Versace family will lead the brand. Donatella, who took over after her brother Gianni's tragic passing in 1997, expressed her continued passion for the brand in her new role as Chief Brand Ambassador, stating her deep connection to Versace remains unchanged.
