At Prada's Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show in Milan, the theme 'A change of tone' was reflected not only through the clothing but also the unique presentation within the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada. Esteemed designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons introduced a collection that played with bold colors and redefined dress codes, mixing formal with casual elements. Observing the familiar space differently, complemented by serene music, the show evoked a peaceful atmosphere that underscored the intention of dismantling fashion norms and celebrating flexibility in style.
When the models began to file out, they fairly swam in the space. There was a bold shock of colour - the collection seemed full of it, rich shades that danced in the daylight.
The music shifted the tone too - rather than thumping techno, it was an ambient soundscape by the anarchic British band The KLF. The sound and the space reminded you, a little, of church.
