Manchester United is set to make nearly a quarter of their workforce redundant to use the saved money for on-pitch enhancements, led by new INEOS chairman Jim Ratcliffe.
The decision to lay off staff, part of a cost review by Ratcliffe, aims to make savings worth millions, primarily invested in boosting the first-team squad and facilities.
