Barcelona is seeking a court order to extend Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor's registrations beyond Dec. 31, stating that failure to do so violates workers' rights in Spain.
President Joan Laporta confirmed that the club is exploring various routes to secure Olmo and Víctor's registrations, highlighting the urgency ahead of the Jan. transfer window.
The club is around €60m in excess of their spending limit, necessitating moves to create financial space despite recent revenue boosts from deals like their agreement with Nike.
Barcelona previously succeeded in a similar legal approach when they registered Gavi's contract after a court ruled in their favor against LaLiga's restrictions.
