Mats Hummels has joined Roma on a free transfer after being released by Borussia Dortmund, where he led centre-backs in line-breaking passes during the Champions League.
The 2014 World Cup winner, who made 508 appearances for Dortmund, has signed a one-year deal with Roma, aiming to strengthen their defense this season.
