Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is facing an injury crisis with six first-team players unavailable, leading him to bring eight academy players for training ahead of the match against Leganes.
Raul Asencio, a 21-year-old Castilla defender, is expected to step in for the injured players. Ancelotti noted, "He’s doing very well after his debut. He’s prepared and physically ready to compete."
Ancelotti expressed confidence in the young talents, stating: "The youth academy is an important part of this club... the homegrown players will be there, but giving minutes is not the objective."
