Barcelona has confirmed the signing of Wojciech Szczesny, the recently retired goalkeeper, on a deal until the end of the season after Marc-Andre ter Stegen's season-ending injury.
Szczesny, who enjoyed success at Juventus with three Serie A titles, is now set to continue his career at Barcelona after retiring this summer.
He will become the second Polish player in Barca's history, joining Robert Lewandowski, and hopes to make his debut soon against Alaves.
Underlining his impact, Szczesny had mutual consent with Juventus to end his contract, paving the way for a surprising return to football with FC Barcelona.
