"Everything is going according to plan."
"I'm meeting the deadlines they've set for me, and so far, everything is going very well."
"What really matters to me is being here working to recover as quickly and as well as possible,"
"Above all, you learn to be patient. What hurts me most is watching my teammates and not being able to play."
Gavi underwent right-knee surgery on September 23 and has followed the recovery roadmap step by step. Recovery is proceeding according to plan, with Gavi meeting the deadlines set by the medical staff and reporting that everything is going very well. The expected return window remains roughly five months, targeting February, with no intention to rush rehabilitation. Gavi restricted rest during the festive period to prioritize recovery and focused on individual training and rehab work. The injury has taught him patience and offered a different perspective, and he finds watching teammates play while sidelined particularly painful. Squad support has been strong.
