He will no doubt have been hoping for more minutes on Sunday at La Ceramica but was a late withdrawal from the squad after picking up a problem in training on Saturday afternoon."

Barca haven't offered an update at present "at the player's request." Seeing Christensen sidelined again is a sad way for the Denmark international to end the year, particularly after he had spoken in midweek at his delight at playing meaningful minutes again for Barcelona."
