No need for sous vide - the perfect steak can be made in your dishwasher: 'It turned out so damn good'
Briefly

An Australian BBQ enthusiast recently showcased the unexpected culinary capabilities of a dishwasher by successfully cooking a steak within it. Initially intending this as a joke for an April Fools' video, the chef used a sous vide method—vacuum-sealing the ribeye and placing it in the dishwasher without soap. After a full wash cycle, and a resting period, the steak was seared and proved to be perfectly cooked, surprising everyone with its tender texture and delicious flavor, showcasing innovation in cooking methods.

Even the fat was so perfectly rendered, like that knuckle of fat that runs through the middle of the Scotch [rib filet], it was butter.
