Meghan Markle's new Netflix cooking series, which premiered on Tuesday, has already garnered attention for an editing blunder in episode four, where a chalkboard reflects an inconsistency in a scene. This is not Markle's first editing error, as previous posts on her Instagram also unveiled a similar misstep. Critics have largely found the eight-episode series unsatisfactory, describing it as 'pointless.' However, among the backlash, some fans praise the series for its engaging content and learning opportunities, showcasing the divided reception of Markle's venture into lifestyle programming.
"Bready or not, here I crumb," the "Suits" alum then wrote in what appeared to be a take two. She then exclaims to the camera: "Okay, let's go!"
Critics weren't too pleased by the eight-episode series, produced by the Duchess and Duke of Sussex's Archewell Production. Markle showed off her cooking, gardening and decorating skills.
The Guardian TV writer Stuart Heritage said the series was "pointless" and should be Markle and Harry's "last TV show."
Some viewers were impressed, however, with one social media user writing on X, "Hating Meghan Markle for no reason is just so boring like ok fine! You're missing out then. More for us!"
