Sonos and IKEA end their partnership
Briefly

Sonos and IKEA are concluding their partnership after eight years, thereby phasing out the Symfonisk lineup which includes affordable lamp and picture frame speakers. While no new products will be released, Sonos will continue to provide software updates to existing Symfonisk products, ensuring customers can enjoy these devices long-term. The range offered Sonos technology at lower price points compared to standalone offerings, with some items possibly facing further discounts during clearance. Recent struggles for Sonos include cancelled projects and leadership changes after a poor app launch.
Over the past eight years, we've had the pleasure of working closely with IKEA and are proud of what we've achieved, Sonos told Engadget.
Although our work together has largely wound down and we won't be releasing new products as partners, we'll continue to support every existing SYMFONISK product so customers can keep enjoying great sound in their homes.
