Instacart has acquired Colombia-based grocery tech firm Instaleap, enhancing its international expansion strategy. Founded in 2019, Instaleap provides global fulfillment solutions to retailers in nearly 30 countries. This acquisition allows Instacart to leverage Instaleap's technology and expertise without launching a delivery network abroad. Instaleap will operate as a subsidiary, with plans to integrate more of Instacart's enterprise technology. The move aims to empower retailers to meet evolving omnichannel customer needs and accelerate Instacart's growth in international markets.
