Reverion, a Munich-based company established in 2015, has secured $62M in a Series A funding round to start serial production of its carbon-negative power plants.
Their innovative high-temperature fuel cell system significantly enhances revenue for biomass operators, providing up to 80% efficiency and doubling the electricity output of traditional gas engines.
Reverion's reversible power plants uniquely capture CO2 during generation, facilitating carbon-negative operations while allowing renewable natural gas or green hydrogen production during surplus energy periods.
The recent funding will help Reverion fulfill more than $100M in pre-orders, attracting interest particularly from farmers and industrial customers seeking increased efficiency and new revenue.
