Bees & Bears, a Berlin-based green fintech, has raised €500M to facilitate the installation of sustainable energy solutions in households across Germany. The funds will enable the installation of about 25,000 photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and energy storage systems. The financing, arranged with a DACH-region bank, aims to boost the renewable energy sector while making financial institutions' investment profiles more sustainable. Using a digital platform, Bees & Bears connects tradesmen with private customers, simplifying financing options for sustainable energy systems, thereby addressing the sustainability investment gap.
