Wuunder, a Netherlands-based logistics SaaS firm, has raised €10M to enhance sustainability in logistics. Half of the funding comes from current shareholders, while the rest is from Perspectieffonds Gelderland. Sindy Vreugdenhil, from Perspectieffonds, emphasizes the province's logistical strength and Wuunder's capacity for leveraging complex data to optimize deliveries. Founded by Jeroen Gehlen, Wuunder's technology streamlines shipping automation, connecting with over 300 carriers and various business platforms to improve efficiency in order fulfillment and tracking, thus aiming to reduce manual work and environmental impact.
Gelderland is a province with a lot of logistical transport. The Gelderse Corridor ensures that a lot of parcel traffic takes place within the provincial borders.
Wuunder can use that data to make smarter choices. That offers an advantage for their customers and for the climate.
