Boris Johnson was unable to grasp basic science and was "bamboozled" by the graphs and data presented to him during the pandemic, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry has been told.
Diary entries by former chief scientific adviser Patrick Vallance were shown to the inquiry yesterday as he described dealing with the former prime minister.
