It is not for ministers to seek to state where the ICC has jurisdiction; that is for the chief prosecutor.
My office has jurisdiction over all crimes committed within the territory of the state of Palestine by either party, including events currently taking place in Gaza and the West Bank.
As we have said from the outset, we continue to urge Israel to ensure it adheres to international humanitarian law and takes every possible precaution to protect civilians.
