In a narrow decision of five to four, the Constitutional Court ruled that Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin could be dismissed largely due to the appointment of a minister with a criminal conviction.
Despite claiming he had done his best to comply with ethical standards, Srettha now faces political uncertainty in Thailand as the parliament must convene to select a new leader.
