The Rejoin EU Party believes Starmer's government could avoid tax increases and market worries by starting the process of re-joining the EU's single market and customs union.
Research has shown that doing so could boost the UK's annual tax take by £40bn, similar to the amount Chancellor Rachel Reeves is raising in tax hikes.
Rejoin EU Party chairman Andrew Smith said: "Brexit is the problem, but tax rises are not the solution. Signalling an intent to re-join the EU would provide the Office for Budget Responsibility with the evidence it needs for growth."
