"This was one of the biggest attempts of all time to attack Moscow using drones," Sobyanin claimed, emphasizing the scale of the UAV incursions and the city's preparedness.
According to Russian aviation authorities, the drone attacks prompted a temporary halt to operations at major airports, but normal flight services were resumed shortly after.
In addition to the 11 drones in Moscow, a total of 34 drones were reported shot down in various regions, showcasing the widespread nature of this coordinated attack.
