Hungary is the only one of the 31 NATO member states that has not yet approved Swedish membership in the military alliance, despite vows by Prime Minister Viktor Orban that it would not be the last to do so.
The right-wing Hungarian government, which has close ties with Russia, expressed feeling 'insulted' by Swedish criticism of Hungary's rule of law, causing delays in Sweden's NATO membership approval.
