Footage posted on Monday showed a drone dropping a burning substance on a tree line. The drone is attributed to the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade of Ukraine.
The drone appeared to be dropping molten thermite, which can reach temperatures of 4,000F, enough to burn through metal. Its use from a drone is unprecedented.
The Ukraine war has been dubbed the "War of the treelines," as troops utilize treelines for cover from drone surveillance.
The celebratory line "Dracarys!" alongside the drone footage alludes to the fire-breathing dragons from "Game of Thrones," signifying a dramatic attack.
