Russian oligarchs win appeal to partially annul EU sanctions DW 04/10/2024
Briefly

A European Union court annulled sanctions imposed on two Russian businessmen in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, ruling the reasoning behind the punitive measures was not 'sufficiently substantiated.' The businessmen appealed, arguing the evidence was unreliable, and the court agreed, finding the sanctions were not adequately justified.
