Ukraine's strike on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear station's dome above a shutdown reactor, controlled by Russia, resulted in normal radiation levels post-attack, according to Russian-installed plant officials.
IAEA, with on-site experts, was informed about a drone detonation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant which was corroborated with their own observations. IAEA Director General cautioned against actions that could threaten nuclear safety.
The Zaporizhzhia plant, Europe's largest with six reactors, faced a drone attack causing minor injuries. Reactors 1, 2, 5, and 6 are in cold shutdown, while 3 is under repair and 4 is in a hot shutdown status.
