Once-in-a-generation cosmic event set to appear in night sky TONIGHT
Briefly

Tonight, a rare planetary alignment will occur, featuring Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune. This extraordinary event, visible without telescopes for most, won’t happen again until 2040. The best viewing time is shortly after sunset, in a dark area away from city lights. Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars due to their distance. While Venus and Jupiter will be the brightest, the moon will not interfere as it is in a dark phase. Planets can be distinguished from stars by their steady shine without twinkling.
"Venus will be noticeably the brightest of all four planets, shining a bright white light, and Jupiter will be the second brightest, also shining white in color."
"Choosing a dark, rural viewing location far away from city lights or other sources of light pollution will help the planets appear brighter."
