EU's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, emphasized the importance of unity, asserting, "We are stronger when we are united." Analysts warn that Trump's dealings with individual EU states could undermine collective strength. Despite uncertainty about future US policies, there are indications that Trump may increase pressure on Russia to resolve its conflict with Ukraine.
"European leaders competing for attention from the Trump Administration will have a negative impact on the unity of the EU," she told DW.
"We are stronger when we are united," she told reporters.
