Yunus expressed strong commitment to the garment industry, stating, "We won't tolerate any attempt to disrupt the global clothing supply," highlighting the economic significance of the sector as protests threaten operational stability.
With over a million Rohingya in Bangladesh, Yunus noted, "We need the sustained efforts of the international community for Rohingya humanitarian operations and their eventual repatriation to their homeland, Myanmar."
