Tom Craig has received a 12-month ban, with six months suspended, after buying cocaine during the Paris Games, according to Hockey Australia following an integrity investigation.
Hockey Australia stated that six months of Tom Craig's suspension will be served fully, while the other half is suspended based on adherence to conduct and behavior requirements.
Despite the ban from competition, Hockey Australia affirmed that Craig remains eligible for selection for the national squad for the upcoming 2025 season.
After his arrest and subsequent release, Tom Craig expressed regret to his family and teammates, swiftly relocating from the athletes' village.
