VVTA unveiled 13 hydrogen fuel cell buses, an interim hydrogen fueling station, and new agency branding at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Hesperia, CA. The event included local, regional, and state leaders, industry partners, and members of the Greater High Desert Chamber of Commerce. VVTA leadership framed the milestone as the result of years of collaboration, planning, and partnership and as a commitment to innovation and regional leadership. The new buses and fueling infrastructure advance zero-emission transit, cleaner air, and long-term sustainability for the High Desert. The project received funding and support from federal, state, regional, and local agencies and partners. Vehicle and technology contributors included New Flyer, Linde, ZeroMission, Ballard, GMV Syncromatics, and Keolis North America.
