The areas impacted include Santa Cruz, Corralitos, Scotts Valley, Capitola, Live Oak, Soquel, Twin Lakes, Opal Cliffs, Felton, Aptos, Ben Lomond, Rio Del Mar, Eureka Canyon Road, Boulder Creek, Day Valley, Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley and Aptos Hills-Larkin."
"Residents in those areas were encouraged to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows. For people outside, in a mobile home or in a vehicle, the agency recommended relocating to the closest substantial shelter. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter, the agency said in its advisory. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely."
