King tides and rain produced repeated coastal flooding across Marin County communities, including San Rafael, Corte Madera, Sausalito, Mill Valley and Greenbrae. Neighborhood streets, harbor areas and public paths were inundated, with sandbag barriers overtopped and floodwater entering businesses such as Fitness SF. A Chevron gas-station pump and a bus stop bench were partially submerged, and vehicles navigated flooded on-ramps near Highway 101. Local officials and aides, including a U.S. representative and county supervisors, toured affected sites like Santa Venetia and Kappas Marina to inspect damage. Recreation areas experienced high water levels as residents used paddleboards to traverse flooded underpasses.
