Leyton Orient showcased resilience as they came from behind to defeat Wrexham 2-1, strengthening their playoff chances in League One. Head coach Richie Wellens praised his team's heart and grit, especially in the final minutes. Charlie Kelman equalized before half-time and Jamie Donley scored a stunning winner, cementing an impressive run where Orient has won seven of their last nine matches. Their determination was evident as they effectively blocked shots towards the end of the match, underscoring their commitment to success.
We showed quality - it was two great finishes and then the desire from several people at the end to put their bodies on the line and block shots.
But sometimes at the end of the day you need heart, desire and grit and the last 10 minutes, we were really good at that.
A lot of players try and slash at that, it goes over the bar or they'll shank it into the ground, technically he's a superb footballer.
I thought Kelman was outstanding all night, ran channels, got hold of it, was a threat, great finish.
