Norwich have agreed to sell winger Jonathan Rowe to Marseille in a £17m deal, which includes a loan with an obligation to buy plus add-ons.
Canaries boss Johannes Hoff Thorup mentioned that Rowe declined to play in their opening-day defeat as interest from Marseille intensified.
Rowe scored 13 goals in 38 appearances last season, helping Norwich reach the Championship play-off semi-final before losing to Leeds.
The Canaries recently sold striker Adam Idah to Celtic and are close to signing Ante Crnac as his replacement.
