Emiliano Martinez has signed a contract extension with Aston Villa, committing to stay at the club until 2029, extending his current deal by two years.
Since joining Villa in September 2020 for £17 million, Martinez has made 160 appearances, including an impressive 15 clean sheets in his debut season.
His exceptional performance in last season's Europa Conference League, particularly in penalty shootouts, was crucial in leading Aston Villa to the semi-finals.
Martinez has not only made significant saves but has also contributed to Aston Villa's fourth-place finish in the Premier League, securing Champions League football.
