Manchester United midfielder could seal dramatic exit despite transfer window having closed

Manchester United's summer clear-out could stretch further as they consider selling high earners, including Casemiro, after a disappointing performance against Liverpool.

Casemiro was heavily criticised for his performance during Manchester United's 3-0 loss to Liverpool, where he was blamed for two goals before being substituted.

Galatasaray has approached Manchester United with a late offer for Casemiro, who is under contract until June 2026 and has an estimated salary of 350,000 per week.

The Turkish transfer window remains open until September 13, possibly allowing for a season-long loan deal for the Brazilian midfielder.
