Manchester City are reportedly targeting Paris Saint-Germain's Xavi Simons as a long-term successor to Kevin De Bruyne, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
De Bruyne has been a vital player for City, winning six Premier League titles and the Champions League since his arrival, but he's now 33, prompting the search for a replacement.
Simons, 21, is seen as a promising talent despite not yet breaking into PSG’s first team, having enjoyed a successful loan at RB Leipzig last season.
Bayern Munich and Liverpool are also interested in Simons, who is under contract at PSG until 2027, potentially making any transfer a costly endeavor.
