The Excel conference centre in east London is set to continue its association with the Formula E world racing championships for at least another year. Since 2021, it has hosted these innovative races featuring battery-powered cars capable of reaching speeds close to that of Formula 1 vehicles. The unique indoor/outdoor track has attracted around 50,000 fans during race events. The venue will also host the Season 12 finale in 2025/26, ensuring sustainability by using 100% renewable energy for the events.
