Toronto Police Service said several schools have evacuated after they received bomb threats in the city. Police said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the schools ended their sessions around 2:30 p.m. Officers are sweeping all schools out of caution, police further stated. Schools such as Kipling Collegiate Institute, Lakeshore Collegiate Institute and Western Technical-Commercial School began evacuating students Wednesday afternoon due to the threats. There have been no reports of injuries.
