More than half of the 44 arrested at Columbia's Hamilton Hall were outsiders. The illegal occupation allegedly spearheaded partially by external individuals.
University officials disclosed that 14 undergraduates, 9 graduate students, and 2 employees were among those arrested, along with 6 students from affiliated institutions.
