The Only State In America Without A Physical Law School Will Be Getting One Soon

To address the lack of a law school in Alaska, the University of Alaska Anchorage has partnered with Seattle University School of Law to create the Alaska Hybrid Hub.

This innovative educational partnership allows prospective law students in Alaska to pursue their legal education locally through a hybrid program involving part-time, in-person classes in Seattle.

The Alaska Hybrid Hub is designed similarly to the Seattle University Flex JD program, offering an accessible path to a legal education without relocation.

Both institutions have demonstrated commitment to the initiative, with alumni supporting networking opportunities and taking active roles at UAA, marking a significant step for Alaska's legal education.
